We had our G12 on Wed. Pastor SF shared with us about drawing principles from the various laws of the Lord. That really provided me with a new perspective. Instead of “dry, boring and rigid” laws of God, I begin to draw principals for us today. Most importantly, from these principals, we can see God’s heart for us – a covenanted loving God.  From my devotion, God showed me these:

1.  NO MORE EXCUSE

Deut 30:11 “Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond you reach.” – We no longer have the excuse that the commandments of God is too “holy” for us to attain

2. HIS WORD – IT IS LIFE!

Deut 32:47 “They (Commands from God) are not just idle words for you – they are your life.” Are we holding on to His word as though we cannot live without it?

Surely, as one of my members, Juni shared with the group – At the end of the day, when we love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength, we can surely obey the word of God, with great delight!

Bless you!
