Might as well use this opportunity to publicise ‘The Allied Health Team’. I was involved in the publicity of Allied Health Professionals in March. Some may not be aware of what we do. We are ‘allies in the healthcare team’, working together to deliver holistic healthcare. We, just to name a few, include dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, radiographers etc. Cool and Xtraordinary Careers!

Remember Ps Casaer G12 session on making specific prayers? Well I was encouraged to write down specific prayers since then. One of them is ‘injecting renewed excitement in my career as a dietitian’. Lo and Behold! The very Monday after G12 conference, I was asked to be a representative for the publicity shoot. It doesn’t end here. For the past 2 months, I had a go (My first time!) in the ICUs and Surgical wards where I had seen a few very challenging patients with unusual presentation of their medical problems. Just this week, I took over the care of children and teenagers with diabetes.
